Restaurant Reviews |
"Whilst
Simple has been around longer than most in the Northern
Quarter and moreorless sets the tone for the area as
a whole, it is safe to say that it would be just as
much at home in New York City or many of Europe's capitals
than in Manchester. |
What
has remained one of the most bustling bars in Manchester
city centre for the past 10 years is also a casual restaurant
with a New York inspired menu, famous for its Sunday
lunch which includes waffles, Blueberry Pancakes, Smoked
Salmon Bagels and Great British Roasts. |
Fashionable
locals and after work diners alike dive into appealing
a la carte dishes like Smithfield Chicken, Corned Beef
Hash, Greenmarket Pie and the vast choice of burgers,
as well as the amazing prix fix deal on sandwiches and
salads. |
The
food is incredibly impressive, especially at such reasonable
prices and for a venue which owes more of a nod to cafe
culture than the more formal restaurant setting you'd
normally have to visit for such quality. |
It's
not hard to see why Simple has remained a Mancunian
icon for the past 10 years."
