Cocotoo
Italian Restaurant Manchester - reader comments
"We
were entertaining quests, so booked the table for 7.30pm, which I
know was early but there was nobody there - no atmosphere
at all. The food was appalling - all the food
was very bland. My salmon was completely overcooked and burned
at the edges. We were very disappointed and embarrassed at having
taken guests there"

"Super
place! Once owned by Alfiero and Alan, from the original
Coco restaurant on Fountain Street, it retains a lot of their touches.
Current owner Bruno Gabrielli is very very pleasant and he can pick
good managers. Gana, who's now back in Mongolia (I know, unexpected)
was master of the place and always always made us feel like No.
1!! Sebastiano, who took over from him, is extremely helpful and
professional and runs a tight ship. We love it. The food
is great, hot and homely. Request: any chance of doing
bruschetta sicilienne (with blue cheese on it)? Had that at one
of Bruno's other places, Ariete, in Newton le Willows. Splendid."
