Jamie's Italian Manchester
The newest in the collection of Jamie Oliver's hugely successful high street restaurants 'Jamie's Italian' opened in the former Midland Bank building on King Street, Manchester on 20th February 2012.
Located just around the corner from the Royal Exchange Theatre and the main shopping district, it's perfectly located.
Many original features of the Grade II listed building, designed by Sir Edwin Lutyens in 1928 and built between 1933 and 1935, have been retained, including marble clad columns, intricate mahogany wall panellings and a number of historic art deco features.
The private dining rooms and events spaces are housed within the basement vault where the banks 200 safety deposit boxes were stored.
Jamie's Italian has received outstanding reviews from many of Britain's most respected food critics.

  Jamie's Italian Manchester
Giles Coren in The Times described Jamie's Italian as “unbelievably good value” and “streets ahead of any Italian chain I can think of anywhere in the world”, while The Independent's Tracey MacLeod called it “a great little operation”.
The group has won thousands of fans from all around the UK for its delicious and affordable food and its friendly and welcoming service.
The Jamie's Italian menu is driven by what you'd find ordinary people eating over in Italy.
Rustic, simple dishes, the best ingredients you can find both locally and in Italy - and seasonal too - made with care but delivered without lots of fuss.
Fresh pasta is made daily on the premises and the menu changes seasonally, although some favourites always stay, alongside the most beautiful anti-pasti, helping create a place where you'll feel right at home, tucking into any combination of great food.
