Per Tutti Manchester Per Tutti Manchester
Per Tutti; an Italian term which literally translated means 'For All'. Now usually when places try to cater for all tastes they end up not being particularly good at anything at all. A jack of all trades is intrinsically a master of none, after all. So would Per Tutti live up to its name and be something which would appeal to the many, or fall into the same trap of so many places who try to do too much?
The dining room was bright and airy, with great lighting from the full length doors, allowing a great view onto Liverpool Road, over towards the Beetham Tower. It was a lovely spot all in all, and we settled right on, being well looked after by our lovely waitress. Straight from the get go, things felt professional, polished and well run. That’s no surprise really when you consider that the part of the team behind Per Tutti; Chris Buckley, worked for Paul Heathcote for 8 years as a General Manager at an array of Chef Heathcote's restaurants.... Royal Nawabb
The Travel Channel will be giving viewers a glimpse behind the scenes at the Royal Nawaab Indian Restaurant in Levenshulme this weekend as part of a 13-part series that pans a selection of famous kitchen operations from New York to Dubai!
The Royal Nawaab Indian buffet restaurant was handpicked by programme makers for the Travel Channel’s ‘Big Kitchens’, which aired in the UK on August 30 and is also broadcast internationally across Europe, the Middle East, Africa, Australia, the US and Canada.
The lifestyle series aims to explore the logistics and larger-than-life characters of some of the world’s largest and most extreme restaurants.
Asad Malik, owner of the Royal Nawaab was ‘surprised but delighted’ to be featured in this Sunday’s 30-minute episode, entitled, ‘King Size Curry House’
He said: “I’m incredibly happy that the Royal Nawaab was chosen because it’s not every day that you’re asked to be part of something that will be broadcast all over the world.
“The fact that we’ve been recognised as one of the largest Indian and Pakistani restaurants in the UK is a great achievement not just for myself, but for the whole community."
“Our staff work very hard to make sure all of our customers are happy customers and hopefully this will come across clearly on the programme.”
Carlo Massarella, Executive Producer for Windfall Films, the production company behind the show said: “This series will offer unprecedented insight into the epic scale of the world’s biggest food operations and satisfy viewers’ hunger for engaging and entertaining documentary programming.
“We honed in on the dynamic characters at the helm of each business – people with inspiring drive and ambition that gives each episode a human hook.”
Home to award-winning chefs, one of Royal Nawaab’s signature dishes is the Niralli Special, chicken marinated in yoghurt and masala sauce, cooked with spices and doused in double cream.
‘Kingsize Curry House’ will air at 8pm, Sunday (September 6) on the Travel Channel.
