Shang Hi Chinese Restaurant Manchester - reader comments

"Very canteen style, but an excellent buffet. Several items I'd not seen before. Very, very cheap during happy hour, 4.30 to 6pm. We got there at 5.45 and there was a bit of a wait which we thought was an attempt to delay us to normal price time slot but they got us a table before 6pm then told us at half past (we had finished by then) that we could either stay but we'd get charged the more expensive price, or go now and get the cheaper price, which we thought was very considerate. Six of us stuffed ourselves for £49 inc drinks. Food was great and you could have as much as you liked." - yvonne, dolgellau 30/10/08 (visited on a weds evening)
