Wok Central Chinese Restaurant Manchester - reader comments
"I've been to Top Wok a few times after a night out - it's one of
the only restaurants in the city centre open until 3am.
The decor is bright and inviting, the menu
extensive and the location (in China Town) superb. The
food on the other hand is pretty average and the
price quite high for such standard fayre. There's
a window looking into the kitchen and the chef's don't look too
happy to be working there. The waitresses also seem to suffer from
work satisfaction - on my visit last night a huge arguement
broke out between four of them - each shouting abuse in
Chinese across the restaurant to each other much to the entertainment
of the customers. There's so many better restaurants in China Town,
including one or two that also open until 3am." -
