The Best Restaurants in Manchester |
We've compiled our list of the
best restaurants in Manchester from the reviews submitted by Restaurants
Of Manchester's team of Trusted Reviewers.
Unlike other websites offering Manchester restaurant reviews,
our secret questionnaire is more complex with each restaurant
being reviewed on 100 different criteria.
Restaurants can not pay for positive reviews and we do not
show them the criteria they are being scored on.
Of course, all reviews are only a reflection of individual
experiences or specific visits and we're always looking for
more Trusted Reviewers to ensure our list of Best Manchester
Restaurants remains reflective.
If you are a well travelled foodie, and would like to become
a Trusted Reviewer, contact

You can also find the best restaurants in Manchester listed by cuisine. |

Simon
Rogan's Mancunian baby sister to his 2 Michelin Star L'Enclume
in Cartmel is housed in the heavily revamped historic dining
room of The French at The
Midland Hotel. A choice of six
or ten course Tasting Menus showcase his multi-award winning British dishes with
most ingredients grown on the farm at L'Enclume. It has remained
the Pride Of Manchester Award-winning

if not better than, Rogan's other recent Michelin Star awarded
Fera at Claridge's in London.

Opened in Spinningfields to
rapturous reviews in April 2015, this stunning restaurant

The
out-of-this-world £4.5 million Thai influenced
Asian fusion restaurant near the Etihad Stadium in
Miles Platting, just 10 mins taxi ride from Piccadilly Station,
is the most spectacular restaurant and bar to have ever opened
in Manchester. Like something out of a James Bond movie,
the incredibly impressive dining arena is without doubt one
of the best in Europe and was designed by Miguel Cancio Martins,
the design house behind the famous Buddha Bar in Paris,
the Alain Ducasse Crystal restaurant in Marrakech and Johnny
Depp, Sean Penn, John Malkovich and Mick Hucknall's Man Ray
in Paris.

Following
an expensive refit in December 2011, and appointing Rod Francis,
from the now-closed iconic Manchester restaurant Lounge 10
as Head Chef, this former tearoom cafe reinvented itself
as an upmarket restaurant. It's popular with the celebrities
that flock to this tiny backstreet hive of restaurants, grouped together
behind Kendal's House Of Fraser department store. It has
deservedly earned a reputation for its modern take on French and British classics
and they still offer some of the best Afternoon Teas in Manchester as well.

sit out, you'll be surprised to find the menu is reasonably
priced and offers a wide selection of pizzas, pastas, steaks
and freshly prepared fish dishes, including some named after
the Manchester
United legend himself. Live jazz, soul and swing music
add a touch of class whilst the paparazzi gallery on the
wall chronicles the famous faces that have dined here.
