"We received terrible service from the start at Slug & Lettuce Didsbury. We had to find our own table, which was fine, but then had to fetch our own menus. Then, when the food was brought out to us, they forget to bring us the garlic bread which was supposed to come with the order, so we had to remind them. When we received the bill and paid for it, we waited for our change and it never arrived. I went up to speak to the manager about the appalling service we received, this took a considerable amount of time as the bar was very busy. When I finally spoke to him, he wasn't very apologetic, telling me to sit down and someone would be down to see us. The waitress then arrived back to give us our change, which ended up being incorrect, leaving us shortchanged. We ended up leaving due to the poor service we received, and will not be returning again." -
