Pronounced
'mug-glee', the name literally translates as 'descendant of
the Mughals', Muslims from central Asia who descended into
and ruled over most of the Indian sub-continent from the sixteenth
to the nineteenth century. |
| Located
in the heart of Manchester's bustling Wilmslow Road since 1991,
the Mughli Restaurant & Charcoal Pit has
become a well established member of the ‘Curry Mile Club’,
known for its quality Indian & Pakistani cuisine and friendly
service. |
| Diners
can enjoy a drink at the bar whilst waiting for their take-away,
or relax and dine in the main restaurant set around the open
charcoal pit. |

Menu |
| The
menu at Mughli focuses on freshly prepared
traditional and contemporary Mughlai dishes and features an
extensive range of vegetarian, meat and sea-food dishes. |
| As
well as serving the usual ‘curry-mile favourites’,
the Restaurant and Charcoal Pit has gained
a reputation for its mouth-watering char-grilled meats
and signature dishes including the Grilled
Fish Tikka, Kali-Mirch Chops and the Karahi
Infusions range. |
| A
function area in the far side of the restaurant
is capable of hosting large parties and the
restaurant has a private car-park to the rear. |
