La
Vina Manchester Deansgate Tapas Restaurant - reader comments

"I
had checked the menu for Vegetarian dishes and ordered the Salad with
the Vegetarian Symbol (v) but when it came, one of the ingredients
was ham. Obviously I do not know Spanish, when I spoke to the waiter
I was told - its a mistake on the menu. The waiter
knew about it and still when I ordered my dish I wasn't informed about
it.
I have to say I was disappointed."

| "Second
time we've been here - and really enjoyed it. Prefer
it to La Tasca as it's smaller, nicer decor and less noisy. We will
definitely go back for an evening visit with friends!"

| "Over
salted Chicken dish, chewy Chorizo, Meatballs were a soggy texture,
wrong mushroom dish, overcooked Garlic Bread, warmed up Patas Bravas,
£17.45 Rioja was worth about £3! I will never
visit again!"

| "It
was my first time trying tapas & therefore I was rather dubious
on what to expect. The portions were larger than I expected
as I didn't think I would have had enough to eat but was pleasantly
surprised when they turned up. My partner & I ordered several
dishes to share between ourselves, the Meatballs were very nice, so
was the Prawns in Garlic & Chilli however not spicy enough for
my taste. My partner did enjoy the Sangria very much though."

| "I
first came with my partner for a meal and really enjoyed the
food, atmosphere and service. Then I booked a table for 10
with my friends, then I brought my family (15 of us) for a birthday
treat for my cousin, then again when my cousin was over from Austrailia.
I have also just booked for a table of 20 at the end of November...
I think you get hint that this place is fab"
